West Maui Kaanapali Papakea A309 is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, sleeps 4, third floor corner condo 25 feet from the ocean's edge. Watch the whales, sunsets, and the ocean from the kitchen, living room and lanai. Sleep to the sound of the waves. This condo is truly directly on the ocean. You awake to the sites and sounds of the beautiful surf, dine on your lanai while enjoying the whales and breathtaking sunsets, or simply relax with a refreshing cocktail and enjoy the views of the ocean, Moloka'i and Lana'i.
Updated kitchen and bathroom with tile/granite counters. Living room air conditioner. Large stacked washer and dryer. Includes a fully stocked kitchen. Ceiling fans in bedroom and living room. Living room has a window air conditioner. Flat screen TVs in living room and bedroom. The master bedroom has a king bed. Living room has a queen sleeper sofa, dining table with 4 chairs and 2 bar stools. Comfortably sleeps 4 people. Lanai has a table and 2 chairs and lounge chair for enjoying the ocean, island and sunset views over a drink.
Walk 25 feet to take a dip in the ocean or snorkel with the fish. You really can enjoy paradise without leaving the resort. The Papakea Resort is located on North Kaanapali Beach. Papakea has 13 acres of lush tropical gardens with foot bridges and Koi ponds. The tennis courts, putting greens, shuffleboard, and 2 pools/ 2 hot tubs make your time as relaxing or as busy as you choose. Children especially enjoy swimming in the pools and ocean in front of the condo. You have the option of dining in or barbecuing poolside or heading out to any one of the numerous restaurants within a five mile radius.
It is our goal to provide you with a fantastic experience while vacationing in one of our fine Maui properties. With everything Maui has to offer and our superior accommodations, we want to make sure you also have a very safe stay. During these trying times, we will be enhancing your safety by taking these actions: Limiting interactions during check-in, airing out and disinfecting the unit before your arrival with procedures exceeding CDC guidelines, disinfecting all towels, linens, and blankets before your stay and providing appropriate cleaning and disinfecting supplies for your use during your stay. The check in process was like clockwork. We were even lucky enough to get in a little early. We saw a lot of whale activity from our lanai. We love the area.
Unfortunately due to COVID-19 the pool closest to us was closed as was the propane grills, which left a bit longer walk to get to the grills and the poolside. And the hot water was hit and miss. Having a washer/dryer in the unit is a major plus. We really enjoyed the welcome gift.

This was a fantastic condo to stay in, while we were are on Maui. The super clean condo A309 was on the third floor with an ocean front view of the majestic islands of Molokai and Lanai on full display and gorgeous sunsets each evening. This is a perfect spot to watch the whales and sea turtles, too. The ocean waves lulled us to sleep each night and the Papakea grounds are immaculate! Many restaurants and Times supermarket are within easy walking distance. Would gladly stay here in the future.

Lovely condo, so close to the ocean we had to shut the doors to hear the TV (the few times we watched). We had everything we needed in the unit, it was clean upon arrival and very quiet. The grounds of the resort are immaculate and the pools and hot tubs large and heated. We usually stay in Kihei, but would come back here in a heartbeat. The only thing missing was a sandy beach, but you can walk down a block North or South and find public beaches.
